I presently live in the very north coastal mountains of California near Eureka Ca. Son of Walter N. Beene I, Grandson of William O Beene, G-Grandson of Obediah Frnnklin Beene of the 5th Miss. My GrandMother was Annie Mae Beene, who married my Grandfather William Henry Moody and lived in Parker Co. Tx. She was born in Parker Co. Tx in 1895. Tidence LANE through their son John Fuller LANE, born 1802, married Permelia POSEY. Their son Benjamin Franklin LANE born 1842, married Hannah Almeda BALES. I stumbled across this site while helping my almost 11-year-old son with a school project - wow! My dad is Charles Beene; his father was Marion Beene (1908-79); his father was Joseph Beene (1880-1962); his father was Thomas Beene (1843-1917); his father was John Bean (b. 1803); and his father was John Bean (b. 1778).
