Southern Bean Association
This is a genealogy association
studying all of the Bean/Beane/Been/Beene
lineages (any spelling).
John Rankin has completed an ambitious project for the SBA. He has transferred
the content of The Bean Tree by Estelee Rankin, his mother, to a CD format. This
out-of-print family genealogy book has been in demand by Bean genealogists for
several years. Now, through the efforts of John, this CD is available at the
modest cost of $35.00. John will produce the CD’s and market them through the
Southern Bean Association. Jerry Blevins, our treasurer, will handle the orders,
and the SBA will receive the profits from the production. This is an excellent
opportunity to get your copy. Be sure to thank John for his thoughtfulness.
John is planning to include family updates and photographs in a separate section
of the CD at some future date.
Permission to publish is required before inclusion. Updates and photos will be
accepted as long as space is available.
