The Bean and Beene Genealogy Email Discussion Lists

While not officially associated with these Email Lists, the SBA recognizes the usefulness of these communication tools.

Some Rootsweb Lists are of interest to those researching Bean/Beene and other surnames.

To subscribe send an email to Bean-L-Request@Rootsweb.com and put the word "subscribe" in the body of the message. (Or send to Beene-L-Request@Rootsweb.com or to other surnames that may be available). Leave the subject line blank. You will receive instructions on how to submit queries to the list, and you will begin receiving others' messages. At times, these lists will be very active. Sometimes, they may not be. Be sure to post your questions. You may get answers, or you may at least find another researcher who is also working on that line.

All messages to the list are archived, and you can search these archives. Go to http://searches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl and type in the name of the list, BEAN, BEENE, or other surname where indicated. You may then type in your key word or words where indicated to search the archives for the name you are interested in.
