Southern Bean Association (This genealogy web site was founded by Roger Gleitz.) The Southern Bean Association is an independent nonprofit organization dedicated to tracing Bean family genealogy for all spellings of the surname. The organization was formed in 1972. Membership Dues are $15.00 annually, entitling the subscriber to four issues of The Bean Stalk, published March, June, September, and December. All memberships start January 1, with the March issue being the first issue of The Bean Stalk each year. Editorial Policy: Neither the editor, the SBA, nor any member of the Editorial Staff assumes any responsibility for error of fact or opinion expressed by the contributors. All material submitted for publication should be sent to the editor. Specifics for submitting Articles: Especially desirable are: Bible Records, Deeds, Wills, Old Newspaper Clippings such as obituaries and stories about Beans, Stories of Ancestors, Queries, Responses to Queries, any items that might help members trace their Bean Ancestors.
